Union Properties to unveil $680m ‘Avenue District’ at Cityscape Global 2018
New mixed-use development in Dubai’s Motor City Phase 2 development to span over 2m square feet
Union Properties will unveil a $680m mixed-use urban lifestyle destination, Avenue District, at Cityscape Global 2018.
A statement from the UAE real estate developer said the new project is part of the Dubai Motor City Phase 2 development and will be its flagship project. Visitors to the Cityscape Global exhibition, set to run from October 2 to 4 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, will get an exclusive preview of the project at the Union Properties stand, and can register their interest in the project.

According to the developer, Avenue District will span over two million square feet, and will feature a mix of residential units and the developer’s flagship One Avenue Mall. The lifestyle-focused retail venue will cover over a million square feet with diverse entertainment and retail options as well as an F&B mix.
The first residential community in Avenue District, 313 Avenue, will comprise 67 studios, 156 one-bedroom apartments and 166 two-bedroom apartments. The contemporary low-rise will also have a 52,000sqft retail centre situated at the ground level of the building for daily retail needs.
According to the developer, the Rubik will be another residential development in Avenue District and will a uniquely designed structure, offering studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. Inspired by a minimalistic style, the residents will have access to a large fitness centre overlooking swimming pools below.
Avenue District will also be home to an ultra-modern 100,000sqft BMW and MINI showroom, the first automotive dealership to open in the area. The facility will use special materials to reduce energy consumption and emissions, as well as incorporate recycling methods for water, oil and batteries to achieve full compliance with Dubai Municipality sustainability regulations.
Located within the Phase 2 expansion of Dubai Motor City, Avenue District will be bisected by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) and Al Qudra Road that feeds onto Sheikh Zayed Road (E11) via Umm Suqeim Street, for access to Dubai International Airport and Dubai Expo 2020.
