Cluttons opens Abu Dhabi office
Growth and government investment into Abu Dhabi market behind decision to shift to capital
Real estate specialist Cluttons has announced the launch of its new office in Abu Dhabi. Located at the EMC headquarters building, the new branch is part of the firm’s expansion drive in the UAE and to house the expanding Cluttons team which has grown to a team of ten.
The decision to establish an office in the UAE capital was prompted by several positive market indicators in recent months, beginning with the announcement by the Abu Dhabi Executive Council earlier this year stating its commitment towards projects in the capital.
This includes plans for developments on Saadiyat Island and Khalifa Port; the planned Midfield terminal at Abu Dhabi International Airport; a commitment towards 14 new hospitals and 24 new schools; housing projects for Emirati citizens in areas such as Liwa, Nema, North Wathba and Al Hayer; new major roads; airport expansion; and industrial expansion in the form of Kizad, the region’s largest industrial zone.
The Abu Dhabi team comprises a group of residential sales and leasing consultants led by Drica Rodrigues, while the commercial division is headed by Paula Walshe.
The team also includes four Arabic speakers, offering customers a degree of local insight, Cluttons said.
