Contractors invited to bid on 5-star RAK resort fit-out works
Firms have until Monday to pick-up prequalification paperwork ahead on 30 August bid deadline
RAK Properties says that contractors bidding on the fit-out and furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) works for its 5-star Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort have until the end of this week to register their interest.
In addition to FF&E, the scoped of works comprises interior lighting, interior signage and way finding. With the deadline for bid submissions set for 30 August, 2018, contractors have until tomorrow to receive the prequalification application documents from RAK Properties’ Dubai office.
The property developer is collaborating with Thailand’s Minor Hotel Group (MHG) on the 225-key development and says it is appealing for pre-qualification bids from global and regional construction companies. Bidding interior fit-out firms must be UAE-registered and have been operating in the UAE for a minimum of five years.
The Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort is expected to be ready by the end of 2018 and is described as a “high-end property boasts key facilities including meeting and events space with a ballroom seating of 250, a health club with a gym, aerobics room and a yoga room, squash courts, a tennis court, a large outdoor pool, a kid’s club with a specialty kid’s restaurant and an extensive Anantara Spa.”
“Once construction is complete, Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort & Spa, will form a key part of the international hospitality offering of our largest development in the emirate, providing visitors and residents with an iconic venue to relax and be entertained,” said Mohammed Sultan Al Qadi, managing director and CEO of RAK Properties when the project was announced in 2016.
