ePROMIS ERP upgrade is progressing at Darwish Engineering Emirates

Darwish Engineering Emirates, a leading general contracting company in the UAE since 1952 confirms that it’s ERP software upgrade project is on track for completion.

The project management office (PMO) meeting comprising the officials of Darwish Engineering Emirates and ePROMIS MEA the regional subsidiary of ePROMIS Solutions Inc., Texas held at Darwish Engineering head office last day observed the ERP software implementation is “advancing steadily” as per the project plan.

According to the joint statement, the new ERP software system will leverage an integrated set of functionalities and standardized business processes at Darwish Engineering. The potential benefits focus primarily on improvements to the efficiency and effectiveness of the operations in construction project life-cycle.

Darwish Engineering Emirates is a long-standing ePROMIS customer. The ERP software upgrade covered the implementation of accounting and financials, VAT compliance, asset management, procure to pay, construction project management, human capital management, payroll, and reporting modules along with future-ready systems. “With the latest ePROMIS ERP Enterprise edition, we hope to build on the success we’ve seen to date. This is an exciting opportunity for us to add value for our customers and further transform our operations,” said Hateem Saheen, Finance Manager of Darwish Engineering.

Remarking on Darwish Engineering Emirate’ relationship with ePROMIS MEA, the GM Baha Nahawi said, “a forward-thinking culture of innovation underpins all that we do. Over the last ten years, ePROMIS ERP helped us address many market challenges enabling us to operate efficiently.” Earlier this year ePROMIS – MEA signed the ERP software implementation contract with Darwish Engineering Emirates as the part of Darwish’s business transformation plan. “The company decided to migrate to the latest ePROMIS ERP with next-generation technologies to be future ready and accelerate data analysis and decision-making capabilities,” said GM Baha.

Abdul Azeez, the Director of QC & Projects at ePROMIS MEA stated that his team used advanced automation and integration tools at Darwish Engineering to make the ERP software upgrade easier. As an experienced construction contractor of the region, Darwish Engineering Emirates plays a pivotal role in the infrastructure development of the UAE by executing several significant projects including multi-story buildings, roads, bridges, airports, and dams.
