Samana Greens residential development on fast track
Sustainable project will feature a grey water treatment system and take advantage of solar power
Dubai-based Samana Developers has announced that its $20.4m Samana Greens residential development is on fast track. According to the firm, the contractor has completed 10% of the project’s construction in 100 days.
The development is located close to the Miracle Gardens in the Arjan area and in close proximity to Al Khail Road and Mohammed Bin Zayed Road. The four storey project comprises 131 residential units split between studio to two-bedroom apartments. It will offer a built-up area of 140,000sqft and will feature a number of facilities and parking for each apartment.
“As Dubai’s real estate market matures further with tighter regulations and transparency, property buyers are looking at real assets and the quality finishing as well as the timely delivery of the project – that reflects the developer’s integrity – we felt our obligation to construct the project before we ask buyers to put their money into the property. Therefore, we are continuing with the project’s construction works so that the buyers could see the property and decide on purchasing as we believe – ‘Seeing is believing’. As our maiden project, we are very much focused on the timely delivery with promised quality, so that the buyers could call it their home and be proud of the amenities,” said Imran Farooq, group CEO.
The developer says Samana Greens is being developed in line with green building standards to achieve LEED certification, and will feature grey water treatment (to produce irrigation water) and will use solar panels to lower electricity consumption. The use of green appliances and the provision of sufficient spaces for greenery and walking are also said to complement the project’s green ambitions.
