Main contractor AFC (Al Futtaim Carillion) has awarded Arabtec’s wholly owned subsidiary EFECO (Emirates Falcon Electromechanical Co.) with a $32 million contract to provide the MEP works for the Creek Horizon Plot 19 on Emaar’s Dubai Creek Harbour Development.

The project works on Creek Horizon’s towers are scheduled to commence this month and expected to take 20 months. They are located close to EFECO’s ongoing project ‘Creekside 18’  and centrally located adjacent to the central park of the Island District. Creek Horizon Plot 19 has a total built up area of approximately 130,000sqm with the towers featuring approximately 550 contemporary apartments.

“We are pleased that EFECO has been awarded another project in the Dubai Creek Harbour Development,” said Arabtec Holding’s CEO Hamish Tyrwhitt. “Repeat business from our key clients is testament to our ongoing commitment towards applying innovative approaches to enhance our work and delivery capabilities. We look forward to working with AFC and on another project for Emaar Properties as we continue to build on our solid relationships in our core markets.”
