ADM completes phase one of Al Zahiyah project in Abu Dhabi

Marks an important step in the completion of the overall Al Zahiyah project

Abu Dhabi Municipality has said that its department of urban planning and municipalities, in collaboration with strategic partners, including Musanada, has opened a vital street, thus marking the completion of Phase One of the development of the Al Zahiyah Project in Abu Dhabi.
According to a WAM report, works on the project started in early 2017 and was completed in March 2018, with the opening of the 10th Street, which extends 1,660m from Abu Dhabi Commercial Centre to Mina Street.
The completion of this project marks an important step in the completion of the overall Al Zahiyah project, as 10th street is considered a significant part of the entire development.
The report added that the opening of this phase of the road reflects the keenness of the Abu Dhabi City Municipality and its partners to meet the needs of road users and community members.
It added that the completion of the project was the result of the ‘co-operation of all parties and illustrates their commitment to the corporate values aimed at improving the quality of life in the city, enhancing the urbanised outlook of Abu Dhabi city, and delivering an array of infrastructural projects’.
The Abu Dhabi City Municipality and its partners previously launched a project aimed at developing Al Zahiyah formerly known as the Tourist Club Area, said the WAM report.
It includes improving facilities and upgrading assets to achieve a host of objectives such as improving the traffic flow, carrying out street lighting, providing pedestrian paths, and others, it added.
