Abu Dhabi developer to continue Saadiyat Island promotion
Abu Dhabi’s Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC) has announced it participation at Cityscape, which opens at Dubai World Trade Centre on October 2. Ahead of the handover of a 354 villas “by 2012 end”, TDIC will showcase its master development on Saadiyat Island and continue the promotion of its mortgage finance facilities “Our aim is to support Abu Dhabi’s growing real estate sector by strategically identifying the market’s needs; therefore, each of the company’s residential projects is positioned to appeal to a wide range of discerning homeowners and tenants,” commented Ahmed Al Fahim, executive director of marketing, communications, sales and leasing at TDIC. By 2015, the island’s Louvre Museum will be open to the public, with Zayed Museum due to open the following year and Guggenheim Abu Dhabi slated for final completion in 2017. The island will also benefit from the conversion of nearby Mine Zayed Port into a cruise terminal; due to be fully operational by the start of the 2013 cruise season.
