Marassi Shores Residences on track for completion in 2019
Tower features a mix of apartments featuring high-quality finishing and views of the sea and surrounding parks
Eagle Hills Diyar has announced that work on its Marassi Shores Residences in Bahrain is progressing ahead of schedule. As a result, the luxury seafront property is likely to be delivered ahead of its previously announced July 2019 completion date.
Construction on the U-shaped property began in August 2017, following the award of the main works contract to Dadabhai Construction in July 2017. The 11-storey tower features a mix of 289 studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and penthouses.
“Our construction partners have made significant headway over the past few months, exerting great efforts to ensure that building work on Marassi Shores Residences not only meets but surpasses our construction targets,” said Dr. Maher Al Shaer, managing director of Eagle Hills Diyar.
Marassi Shores Residences is the second residential complex located at the master-planned Marassi Al Bahrain urban development. Located on the eastern coast of Diyar Al Muharraq, the development offers 875,000sqm of waterfront residential, hospitality, retail and entertainment space.
“Marassi Shores is an integral component of the overall Marassi Al Bahrain development and a prominent destination that will offer a host of residences, facilities and amenities. It is also a very ambitious structure and additional manpower has been brought on site, with up to 900 workers on the ground during peak hours,” added Al Shaer.
Once completed, the urban development is expected to be home to 5,600 residences and 250,000sqm of total retail space.
“Exceeding our expectations on construction timelines is highly commendable and we are confident that our construction partners will continue to push ahead at this pace to deliver a project of international standards ahead of schedule. We are determined to work closely with Dadabhai Construction to beat our construction targets and deliver this much-anticipated project before July next year. The subsequent phase will include the first mock-up, which will be ready by March this year, and the opening of our retail offerings by September,” concluded Al Shaer.
