Second stage of infrastructure work for Al Qamra project is underway
Infrastructure work expected to be completed by July 2018, Bahrain developer says
Diyar Al Muharraq, the Bahraini urban developer, has announced that the secondary stage of infrastructural work for its Al Qamra project is well underway, in line with the pre-forecasted date for completion.
All infrastructure work on the project is being undertaken by Hafeera Contracting, the developer said in a statement, adding that completion is expected in July this year. In line with the company’s efforts to expediate the construction of its developments, in order to cate to inhabitants, the project is undergoing a nine-month programme, it said.
Diyar Al Muharraq added that the majority of the deep services had been completed, with the current progress of infrastructure work standing at 20%. Once work is finished, plot owners within the development will have a complete infrastructure network, including roads, electricity, water, drainage and telecommunications.

“Therefore, we look forward to maintaining the implementation of our accomplished work practices and philosophy and facilitate the realization of Al Qamra according to its scheduled timeframe of completion,” he added.
Diyar Al Muharraq is a master planned city for the people of Bahrain, offering a range of housing options and lifestyle amenities. It provides a mix of residential and commercial properties, with a strong line-up projects aimed at creating a long-term township.
Al Qamra encompasses over 131 freehold residential plots tailored for affordable mid-range housing units, and is located near Al Naseem, the canal front residential venture.
