CH2M HILL named fourth top architectural firm
IDC Architects branch honoured in a list of 250 complied by Architectural Record magazine
The architectural arm of CH2M Hill has been ranked number four in a list of the world’s top 250 architectural firms, by Architectural Record magazine.
The firm behind Dubai Silicon Oasis has also carried out projects for Dubai Airport Freezone Authority, in addition to a number of clients in China, the UK and US.
“The expectations of the architectural marketplace have evolved a lot in recent years,” said IDC Architects Tim Meier.
“We’ve responded to those changes by stepping up to offer a more dynamic and diverse range of services to our clients. They expect not just great architectural design, but also creative solutions for making advanced technology buildings more energy-efficient, task-flexible and less expensive to operate,” Meier added.
IDC Architects specialises in defense, government, research laboratories, water facilities, aviation, transportation, ports and maritime, university research facilities, semiconductor fabrication facilities, manufacturing facilities, data centers and a variety of office buildings for both the public and private sector.
Qatar’s$2.7bn waste-water project IDRIS and Dubai’s Jumeirah Gardens development both feature in parent company CH2M Hill’s regional portfolio.
