ASGC plans “major expansion”
Dubai-based contractor to grow operations in the Middle East and worldwide
A statement released by Al Shafar General Contracting (ASGC) has said the company is looking for more “high-margin” contracts as it sets out to increase operations in the Middle East and expand into Asia.
In the statement ASGC said the move “is an effort to mitigate falling demand in commercial and residential sectors.”
“Geographical expansion will provide ASGC with access to a new customer base and opportunity to leverage its skill set outside the UAE. Our vision is to be a preferred partner in the region delivering a comprehensive range of contracting services. We anticipate the need for an experienced service provider will increase in coming months,” said CEO Bishoy Azmy.
The expansions are in addition to the recent opening of Al Shafar Oilfield Contracting in Abu Dhabi, providing building services for on-shore and off-shore oil gas fields.
The statement also revealed that the company will make “some major announcements” during Dubai’s The Big 5 exhibition in November, where Azmy will present a seminar on growth and client satisfaction.
