Saudi developer unveils plan for $218m Dubai Canal tower
Construction on Dar Al Arkan’s skyscraper to start in early 2018, with interiors by Cavalli
Dar Al Arkan, the largest listed real estate developer in Saudi Arabia, has announced plans for Dubai to be the launchpad for its international business, and plans an AED 800 million ($218m) development on the Dubai Water Canal in the Business Bay area.
The company has partnered with luxury brand Roberto Cavalli to design the interiors of the 34-storey “I Love Florence” waterfront skyscraper, according to a statement.
Units will be available in one, two, three and four bedroom penthouses. The tower architecture has been designed by VX Experts. DAAR has also appointed La Casa Engineering Consultants. Construction will start in January 2018.
