Contract will see firm providing HVAC maintenance services to schools across Dubai and the Northern Emirates

Al Futtaim Engineering, a multi-disciplinary engineering firm based in Dubai, announced on Tuesday that it had signed a multi-million dollar contract to undertake MEP maintenance for more than 250 schools across Dubai and the Northern Emirates.

The agreement, which was signed with the UAE Ministry of Education, will see the company look after the heating, ventilation and air conditioning facilities covering the schools.

“This prestigious contract comes close on the heels of other significant maintenance contracts with companies, including Dubai Islamic Bank, the Government of Sharjah and First Gulf Bank,” said Murali Serpakkam, acting director of Al Futtaim Engineering.

He added that the project was an opportunity for the firm to showcase its ability to deliver industry bench-marked services.

The contract was co-signed by HE Humaid Mohammed Obaid Al Qatami, Minister of Education.
