Abanos wins $3m contract for Dubai’s Art of Living Mall
Interior fit-out and joinery company will create ‘stand-out features’ for the mall
Abanos, the UAE-based interior fit-out and joinery company, has announced that it has won a $3 million contract for the Art of Living Mall (ART CENTRE) project, on Umm Sequim road in Dubai.
As per the contract, Abanos will be tasked with creating stand-out features for the mall, including a ‘contemporary organic ceiling’ and a custom-made aluminium Mashrabiya. In a statement, the company said that it would be using ‘state-of-the-art’ joinery and fit-out techniques to create the features.
The project built-up area is 510,000sqft and consists of hand-selected materials, including flooring imported from Spain, the statement added.
The Art of Living Mall is scheduled to be completed in the first quarter of 2018. The client for the project is MMS Global, while Abanos will be working with Airolink – the main contractor, and consultant Lacasa.
