Apache awards Foster Wheeler three-year deal
Swiss firm will provide design, engineering and project management to assist joint venture
Swiss-headquartered engineering firm, Foster Wheeler has secured a three-year contract to provide Apache Khalda Corporation, a subsidiary of Apache Corporation and a joint venture with state player Egypt General Petroleum Corporation,with consultancy services to its upstream operations in Egypt.
Under the framework agreement, Foster Wheeler is to provide services including design, engineering and project management to assist Apache Khalda in the development and implementation of upstream projects in the country.
The companies previously worked together in 2011 when Apache Khalda awarded Foster Wheeler a deal to provide project management consultancy services on a compression project for the Qasr gas condensate field.
