ECC wins contract for Mirdif Hills project in Dubai

Development has three plots; each will take 24 months to complete

Engineering Contracting Company (ECC) has announced that it has secured the contract for the first phase of the Mirdif Hills development. The 3.09m sqft development is part of Dubai Investments Real Estate Company’s (DIRC) portfolio.

The contract involves the construction, completion and maintenance of commercial and residential buildings, and features three plots – Al Multaqa Avenue, Janayen Avenue and Nasayem Avenue. It is estimated that construction on each plot will take 24 months.

Commenting on the contract win, Khodr Aldah, director general of ECC said, “Across our 42-year history in the UAE, ECC has been involved in building a diverse array of projects from healthcare, parks and educational institutes, to residential and commercial towers, hotels, shopping malls, restorations and historical buildings.”

Once complete, Mirdif Hills will boast residences, retail outlets, commercial options, hotels and communal recreational facilities. Studio, one, two, three, and four bedroom flats and duplex units are spread across a cluster of 1,054 individual contemporary apartments.

The development also features one furnished apartment building [64 apartments], and a hotel [116 keys], which is surrounded by greenery, landscaping, and ultramodern amenities.
