SASCO to build 20 ‘Super 8’ hotels in Saudi Arabia
Master franchise agreement with US hospitality chain will see 20 hotels built over the next five years
Saudi Automotive Services Company (SASCO) has signed a master franchise agreement with US-headquartered hospitality chain, Wyndham Hotel Group to build 20 ‘Super 8’ hotels in Saudi Arabia over the next five years.
The introduction of the brand into the Middle East comes just months after the launch at the International Hotel Investment Forum (IHIF) in Berlin of the Super 8 brand in Germany. The Super 8 properties in the Middle East and Africa region will offer guests specifically designed bigger family rooms with adjacent living space.
Super 8 has more than 2,200 properties across the US, Canada and China. “Super 8 is a convenient and trusted highway hotel brand, which makes it ideal for the long highways and the volume of car journeys in this market,” said Wyndham Hotel Group’s regional Vice President for Middle East and Africa, Bani Haddad.
