Mubadala stalls on Four Seasons Abu Dhabi contract

Planned hotel to be a 144m high tower, with 200 rooms and 124 apartments
Mubadala Development Company has still not announced the winner of the contract to build a five-star hotel in Abu Dhabi, the bids for which were received in October last year.
The planned Four Seasons hotel on the Sowwah Island will be a 144-metre high tower, with a gross floor area of about 100,000 m2. The 200-room property will feature restaurants, a swimming pool, spa, gym, conference centre, 124 apartments, a 6,000 m2 retail area, and 16,000 m2 of car parking space.
The bidders gave final offers to the government-owned investment vehiclein October 2011, after initial bids were submitted in early 2011.
