Genavco opens new full-service facility in Abu Dhabi
New showroom and service centre in Mussafah area part of regional equipment supply major’s golden jubilee celebrations
Dubai-based regional construction equipment supply heavyweight, General Navigation and Commerce Company (Genavco), has opened its new full-service facility in Abu Dhabi.
The Juma Al Majid Group company, which is the representative of Isuzu commercial vehicles as well as construction equipment and machinery from the Wirtgen Group, Liebherr and Terex in the region, among other leading brands, is celebrating 50 years in business this year. It said that the opening of the new facility highlights Genavco’s commitment towards offering the best service and support to its large customer base, coupled with easy accessibility.
At the grand opening this week of what the company calls its flagship facility at the Mussafah Industrial Area in the UAE capital, Khaled Issa, COO of Juma Al Majod Group, said the opening was part of the year-round celebration of “relentlessly serving our dedicated customer base over the last 50 years”.
“In the coming years, Genavco expects robust demand for commercial vehicles, industrial and construction equipment. The projected infrastructure expansion plans ahead of Dubai’s EXPO 2020 and other strategic projects is expected to fuel growth in the market. Genavco’s expansion strategy is based on offering a comprehensive yet diverse product portfolio, competent human capital, exceptional service delivery and state-of-the-art facilities,” Issa said.
The new Mussaffah facility has a total built up area of 30,376sqft and comprises a state-of-the-art Isuzu and heavy equipment showroom, service facilities, spare parts sales and a BP Quick Lube facility. The showroom will display an extensive range of Isuzu’s fleet of vehicles along with selected heavy equipment products from the best-known international brands such as Vogele, Hamm, JLG and others. The 11,250sqft service wing of the facility, with 13 service bays and dedicated VIP waiting areas, will offer a futuristic customer service experience, Issa added.
Genavco has also announced that it is offering discounts and special promotions during February to celebrate the grand opening of this new facility as well as to mark its 50th anniversary.
The new facility is located in the Mussafah Industrial Area’s M9 block, between the 6th and 8th streets, adjacent to the Bin Hamloudah Chevrolet Body Shop. The facility will be open Saturday to Wednesday from 8am and 5pm and on Thursday until 1pm.
