Abu Dhabi’s Mamsha Al Saadiyat works ‘22% complete’
Mixed-use development has completed construction of basement and podium, work on upper levels has begun, TDIC says
Abu Dhabi Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC) has said it has achieved a significant milestone at its beachfront Mamsha Al Saadiyat project, which has achieved 22% completion of development works.
The mixed-use development is located at the heart of Saadiyat Cultural District, which is a cultural hub with several international museums, such as Zayed National Museum, Louvre Abu Dhabi and Guggenheim Abu Dhabi.
The Mamsha Al Saadiyat project incorporates nine low-rise buildings with a total number of 461 units, ranging from one-to-four bedrooms. The apartments vary between 110sqm and 450sqm. The project also offers loft apartments, a statement from TDIC added.
Nine penthouse units with an average size of 1,050sqm are also available within the development.
Mamsha Al Saadiyat is connected to a 1.4km promenade with dedicated walking and cycling paths and direct access to the beach, playgrounds and residential and visitors parking areas.
TDIC said that construction work is progressing according to the pre-set schedule, and will be completed by the second half of 2018. The project is being built through a joint venture between San Jose Contracting and Pivot Engineering and General Contracting.
The $340 million contract was awarded in April 2016, following a competitive tendering process.

Marzooqi added that the construction of the basement and podium has been completed, with work now ongoing on the upper floors of the buildings. TDIC is monitoring and supervising all the development phases of the project to ensure timely execution, the developer added.

It’s a unique and promising investment opportunity, and we are anticipating strong interest from the local and international investors,” she explained.
