Bahrain’s Al Safir Hotel to spend $4m on renovation
120 room hotel will be completely renovated over the course of two months
Bahrain’s four-star Al Safir Hotel and Towers has revealed a $3.97m plan to renovate the property starting from late next month.
Built in 2000, the 120-room hotel will be completely renovated over the course of two months, with four additional rooms to be built for guests with disabilities, Hameed Al Halwachi, the hotel’s managing director told the Gulf Daily News.
“All rooms will have a new international design and will be refurnished as well,” said Al Halwachi. However, an adjoining tower that opened in June 2007 will not be redone, he noted.
Located in located in the Jufair area of the capital, Manama, the hotel features food and beverage outlets, a health club with an indoor swimming pool, as well as conference rooms and facilities.
