Apartment construction in Kuwait is currently flourishing, as high home costs make it easier for Kuwaitis to opt for build residential apartment buildings rather than private houses.
According to conditions set by the Bank of Savings and Credit, Kuwaiti nationals are entitled for a loan worth $248,000 to purchase the apartment.
Legislations have also made loans attainable for divorced or widowed women to easily receive housing loans, which encouraged several construction firms to build more apartments to take advantage of the high demand.
Realtors say the highest demand is currently for mid-range apartments that has an area of 70 m2 to 90 m2.
