KEF Company opens corporate head office in DIFC
New venture to focus on providing eight separate verticals, including infrastructure, healthcare and investments
KEF Company, the latest venture of Faizal E Kottikollon, the UAE based industrialist, has opened its corporate head office at the Dubai International Financial Centre, it was announced on Monday.
Kottikollon, the founder and chief executive of KEF Holdings, the UAE based valve manufacturer, said that his new venture would seek to provide the best-in-class technology and resources at an affordable cost.
He added that the new company would focus on eight separate verticals, including infrastructure, healthcare, hospitality, education, investments, agriculture, metals and sports.
Some of the projects lined up by the new company include the launch of precast concrete technology in Kochi, a world class 500 bed tertiary care hospital in Kozihikode, and boutique hotels in Mangalore, Karnataka and Kozhikode.
The precast building plant is being designed to be a high-tech, quality controlled facility that will ensure that Kerala’s infrastructure sector is delivered enhanced quality materials, along with improving on time project execution.
Meanwhile, the hospital will be built as a joint venture between the PeeKay Group, a leading business group from Kozhikode and Dr Faizal Ali, a leading cardiologist. Focusing on cardiac sciences and neurosciences (amongst others), the project aims to be one of the best in Southern India, Kottikollon said.
The new office will also serve as headquarters for the Shabana & Faizal Foundation, an initiative spearheaded by Shabana Faizal with a focus on educational and community welfare in the UAE and India.
