IMG Worlds has announced plans for Worlds of Legends, a 186,000 sqm. indoor theme park in Dubai which will be bigger than its previous project, IMG Worlds of Adventure.
Offering a retractable roof and new attractions, the theme park will include nine zones featuring some of the world’s most recognisable brands, including Mattel, Pokémon, Cartoon Network and Ubisoft.
The new addition will also include water-based rides, 9,700 sqm of food and beverage options and 9,500 sqm of retail space all within a temperature-controlled environment.
“This will be a separate proposition from our IMG Worlds of Adventure attraction and will be adjacent to the theme park,” commented Lennard Otto, CEO of IMG Worlds. “These are two separate day destinations, with separate entry gate and ticket, though there will be some aspects that will be connected.”
