Al Fara’a General Contracting, the Al Ain based engineering and construction firm, announced on Monday that it had been awarded the construction contract for the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company’s (SEHA) Silaa Community Hospital in the Western Region of the Emirate.
With more than three decades of expertise in executing projects of similar scope and size, the contractor has established itself as a provider of healthcare infrastructure to the UAE market.
“The healthcare sector has always been an integral component of Al Fara’a’s fundamental expertise, and we are proud to contribute to the vision of the country’s leadership, which is focused on aligning the UAE’s healthcare system infrastructure to progressive international standards,” said Dr J R Gangaramani, president and executive chairman of the Group.
Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed was present at the signing of the contract and said that the UAE capital’s were continuously being improved to bring it in line with recognised international standards.
The new hospital has been approved by the Executive Council as part of SEHA’s strategy to improve the Emirate’s health care infrastructure and to achieve its vision of providing world-class healthcare to residents.
