RAK Properties has announced that it is handing over the second phase of its Flamingo Townhouses project, comprising 57 units, two months ahead of schedule.
The project, located within the northern emirate’s biggest developer’s Mina Al Arab community, was due for handover by December 31 this year, but will now be handed over in October, RAK Properties said in a statement.
The Abu Dhabi-listed property developer added that this marks the second early delivery of Flamingo Townhouses, after 124 villas in the project’s first phase were handed over three months early.
“The completion of Phase II follows the early delivery of Phase I last year and provides new units to meet demand in Ras Al Khaimah,” said Mohammed Sultan Al Qadi, managing director and CEO of RAK Properties. “Providing high quality homes showcases the commitment of RAK Properties to its clients and in return, and perhaps most importantly, strengthens their trust.”
Conceptualised as a small, self-contained community, Flamingo Townhouses II features 57 townhouses overlooking a mangrove wetland, which is an ecological element of the design, said the statement from RAK Properties. The development also features several lifestyle amenities and is part of RAK Properties’ eco-themed, mixed-use waterfront community spread over 43 million square feet in the $2.7bn Mina Al Arab development that highlights Ras Al Khaimah’s natural beauty and heritage.
Constructed by the Al Nuaimi Group, the 57 townhouses within Flamingo Townhouses second phase consist of 32 attached three-bedroom units and 25 attached two-bedroom units, which range in size from 2,004 to 2,334 sq ft, the statement added.
