Perkins+Will appoints new finance director for Dubai office
Finance and legal services veteran Ganesh Prabhu to oversee unit’s financial management
Perkins+Will has appointed Ganesh Prabhu as the finance director for its Dubai office, where he will be responsible for the overall financial management of the company’s largest growth hub across the Middle East.
Announcing the appointment in a statement, Perkins+Will said Prabhu was previously Middle East CFO at international law firm Simmons & Simmons based out of Dubai’s DIFC, where he recently led and completed a restructuring of Middle East operations.
A mathematics graduate and a qualified management accountant from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in the UK and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CIMA, UK and CPA, USA), Prabhu also holds a diploma in Islamic Finance from CIMA.
He has handled financial affairs at leading international law firms for over 12 years across India, Bahrain, Singapore, and Dubai, the statement added, with a remit ranging from financial and accounting operations to leading business transformation projects. He also has experience across the leisure, hospitality, and retail sectors.
