Atlas Copco expands MB breaker range
New range is directed towards a different market segment than the company’s standard MB range
Sweden’s Atlas Copco has unveiled a new ‘Essential’ variant to its MB range of medium hydraulic breakers. The new range is directed towards a different market segment than the company’s standard MB range, boasting high performance, low weight, and only essential features.
The manufacturer removed the ContiLube II automatic lubrication system and the noise protection kit, but maintained the same high impact power and power-to-weight ratio as the original MB range.
There are five Essential breakers available, covering the 10 – 32 tonne carrier classes. The weight of the units, all of which are designated with an ‘E’ on the end of the product number, range from 750kg to 1,700kg, Atlas Copco said.
