Damac unveils $326k ‘Akoya Selfie’ villas in Dubai

Developer Damac has young millennials firmly in its sights with the launch of its ‘Akoya Selfie’ branded villas in Dubai.

The planned three-bedroom units, to be built at the Akoya Oxygen master development, are aimed at young professionals, couples and families, the Dubai Financial Market-listed developer said.

They are to be priced at AED 1.2 million ($326,000), payable over three years and including the plot title deed.

The Akoya Selfie villas, set within a “vibrant golf community”, will go on sale on Saturday, October 8, at an event at The Ritz-Carlton at Dubai International Financial Centre, and in Abu Dhabi at Jumeirah at Etihad Towers.

Ziad El Chaar, Managing Director of Damac Properties, said: “Launched under the theme ‘where I see myself’, Akoya Selfie is our latest project innovation that caters to the needs of millennials and families who seek to be part of an international golf community that offers an all-encompassing and refreshing lifestyle. Unlike most cities around the world, the millennial population in Dubai is quite significant and therefore there is a need to offer real estate products that suit their tastes and savvy lifestyle.”

The developer also says it is offering investors the opportunity to buy Akoya Selfie plots of land, “enabling them to build their own dream homes according to their preferences and tastes”.
