Intermat ME to be held in Abu Dhabi next October
250 exhibitors will showcase the latest construction and infrastructure equipment to the region
The UAE ministry of public works has said it is to support holding the ‘Intermat Middle East 2012’ in the capital, Abu Dhabi, next October.
The event is being organised by Clarion Events Middle East and its partner, Comexposium France, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from October 8 – 10. The organisers expect over 250 exhibitors to showcase the latest construction and infrastructure equipment to a region with an estimated $4trn in active projects.
Abu Dhabi’s Department of Municipal Affairs will support Intermat as its strategic foundation and knowledge partner.
“Support from regional governments and municipalities, who are developing urban master plans and multimillion-dollar infrastructure projects, plays an important role in ensuring the success of this international trade exhibition for construction products, building machinery, materials and equipment,” said Intermat exhibition manager, Maryvonne Lanoe.
