Muriya launches boutique property in Salalah

Joint venture tourism developer launches first of five international hotel brands at Salalah Beach

Omani tourism developer, Muriya, a 70-30 joint venture between Orascom Hotels & Development and the sultanate’s government-owned company, Omran, has announced the soft opening of a new boutique property designed by Egyptian architect, Adel Mokhtar.
The five-star Juweira Boutique Hotel is the first of five international hotel brands that will anchor the Salalah Beach lifestyle destination overlooking the Arabian Sea, Muriya said.
Located around 20km from Salalah International Airport, the new property offers 64 guestrooms including 21 suites, and features 8.2km of beaches.
Designated an Integrated Tourism Complex (ITC) by the tourism ministry, Salalah Beach will eventually comprise freehold apartments and villas, shopping and retail outlets, five-star hotels, two 18-hole PGA golf courses, 200-berth inland marina, and restaurants and cafes.
