Back to school “in record time”

“Round the clock” work for Brighton College

Abu Dhabi-based master developer and national holding company Bloom Properties has announced the completion of Brighton College.
Structural works were completed in “record time” in February and, as The Big Project reported in March more than 1000 labourers walked around the clock to ensure 15,000m3 of concrete were poured and more than 2500 tons of steel reinforcements were utilised in the 34,000m2 project.

“We have been working tirelessly to ensure that the school is ready for our first academic intake in September 2011,” said Bloom sales and marketing VP, Bassam El Khoury.

“The completion of construction work and opening of the school adds up to Bloom’s achievements, and translates our vision of delivering a fresh and innovative approach to building communities,” El Khoury added.
Bloom is the property and lifestyle development arm of National Holding, with headquarters in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The company has been in operation since 1999 with an established portfolio of completed projects.

The first development launched for sale by Bloom is its residential development, Bloom Gardens, which is located on the Eastern Corniche in Abu Dhabi. Bloom Education partnered with Brighton College to bring the school to the region.
