Dubai’s Damac plans sale of first Aykon City residential units
Two-bedroom units starting at AED1.69 million are set to go on sale on June 11
Damac Properties has announced the upcoming sales launch of the first residential tower at its Aykon City project next to the Dubai Canal on the emirate’s Sheikh Zayed Road.
The 60-storey tower will house apartment units and overlook the new waterway, the Dubai Financial Market-listed developer said.
In the first phase of the launch, Damac will release two-bedroom units with prices starting at AED1.69 million. The units will go on sale on June 11 from 11am to 3pm and from 9pm until 2am at the Godolphin Ballroom in Dubai’s Jumeirah Emirates Towers hotel. Sales will also take place at the same times at the Jumeirah Etihad Towers’ Meeting Room 3 in Abu Dhabi.
The release of the residential tower units follows the launch of hotel apartments within the project, Damac’s statement added.
Ziad El Chaar, managing director, Damac Properties, said: “The upcoming launch of residential units within this iconic development is a much-anticipated event, with our investors and the community having expressed interest to purchase units when the project was first launched. It is strategically located in what will be one of the most prime locations in Dubai, with its central location and connectivity to all parts of the emirate.”
Among the features of Aykon City will be Aykon Dare, an adventure experience on the 80th floor of the project, Damac said in the statement. It will provide guests the opportunity to walk around the outside of the tower’s roof with panoramic views of the city 285 metres below. Another attraction will be Aykon Plaza – an elevated platform that will link the development and provide areas for leisure, retail and relaxation.
Damac estimates the total sales value of the project to be AED7.4 billion with a completion date of 2021.
