Al-Futtaim Engineering’s Elevators division has won an annual maintenance contract from Damac to maintain the Hitachi elevators in the developer’s Ocean Heights Tower in Dubai Marina, it has been announced.

The contract will see the division service, maintain and provide for necessary spare parts for six ultra-high speed elevators in the residential tower, which is 310m tall, with 83 floors.

The Ocean Heights Tower is currently the fifth tallest luxury residential building in the world, and it is the fourth tallest residential building in Dubai.

“We are extremely pleased to have won this comprehensive maintenance contract from Damac Group. This contract further reiterates our commitment to not only providing best-in-class products but an after sales service to match,” said Dawood Ozair, senior managing director of Al-Futtaim Engineering and Technologies, in a statement.

Headquartered in Dubai, Al-Futtaim Engineering’s Elevator division represents major international brands such as Hitachi, Lift Material (LM) and BLT Elevators.
