Mouchel Consulting appoints director for Saudi operations

Philip Bourne joins from Louis Berger to develop consultant’s business in the kingdom

Mouchel Consulting, the international infrastructure company, has appointed Philip Bourne as director for Saudi Arabia, it has been announced.

Bourne joins from Louis Berger, where he was the managing director of operations in Saudi Arabia. He brings with him more than 20 years of international experience, a statement from Mouchel said.

“It’s an exciting time to be joining Mouchel Consulting in KSA. My main objective is to continue supporting the ambitions plans for growth, as set out in Vision 2020, driving and further developing the Mouchel Consulting business in KSA at this key time for the company.

“We will continue to deliver our core services, providing quality solutions and creating excellent relationships with our clients, and will be also looking to develop other areas of our business in the kingdom,” he said in a statement.

Bourne is a chartered engineer and a fellow of both the Institution of Civil Engineers (UK) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (UK) and has worked in Latin America, the Middle East, Europe and the UK across a variety of sectors, including water, wastewater and infrastructure.

He has previously worked with Arcadis, AMEC and Halcrow. Bourne also holds a place on the Industry Advisory Council for the New York University, Abu Dhabi.
