The first Middle East Consultant Awards, held on 6 December 2015, attracted more than 200 guests from across the industry.

Developed to celebrate and recognise the efforts of the GCC consulting industry, the awards, held at the Jumeriah Emirates Towers Hotel, offered industry professionals the chance to network and catch up on industry gossip.

Davina Munro, deputy editor of ME Consultant magazine, welcomed the guests and thanked them for coming, pointing out that the night’s celebration was an opportunity to honour those who had, quite literally, shaped the Middle East.

The awards themselves were spread across 14 categories, covering various sectors and segments of the construction consulting world.

Some of the big winners on the night included WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, which took home the Multi-Discipline Company of the Year award, KEO International Consultants, which was honoured with the Project of the Year award for its Lusail Multi-Purpose Hall, and Lacasa Architects and Engineering Consulting CEO Emad Jaber, named Executive of the Year.
