Leading regional and international construction company Shapoorji Pallonji has entered the final stage of construction of Bloom Central Project, a 25-storey mixed-use, twin-tower complex located in the heart of the capital.

As a complex, Bloom Central will be split between the two towers, with one hosting a five-star, 315-room hotel, and the other a 64-key executive apartments that will offer 49 two and three-bedroom residences and over 7,000m2 of office space.

Shapoorji Pallonji is currently in the final stages of fixing the exterior finishing to the building, while MEP contractors are carrying out the installation of the utilities.

Mohan Dass Saini, CEO of Shapoorji Pallonji’s Engineering & Construction division noted: “We are very pleased with the overall progress on this project as well as the quality of execution apparent in the final stages. Bloom Central represents a major contribution to the ever diversifying range of property solutions in Abu Dhabi.”

Upon completion, Bloom Central will further bridge existing gaps in the hospitality sector, and according to Bloom Properties, will significantly complement the company’s existing portfolio, as well as its core ethos of revolving around “building communities”.

Bloom Properties awarded Shapoorji Pallonji the main construction contract for the project in December 2011, appointing Heberger as lead consultant and Gensler as interior designer, while Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank is providing the project finance.
