District One of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum City begins work on Phase Three

Developer says project has commenced machinery and department mobilisation and that piling works have progressed

Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum City, District One, a part of the master development for Meydan, has announced that construction has begun on Phase Three of its 45 million square foot masterplan development.

In a statement, the developer said that the project has commenced machinery and equipment mobilisation and that piling works have progressed. Located within the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum City development, Phase Three comprises of 16 buildings, ranging from G+4 through to G+16, all of which will have one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments.

“Since the launch of this project, the design of these elite homes has successfully captured the interest of both buyers and investors, considering the community features world-class amenities and is in one of the lowest density villa and apartments in the heart of Dubai,” said Saeed Humaid Al Tayer, chairman and chief executive officer of Meydan Group.

The apartments have been designed to utilise natural light, with floor to ceiling windows that also offer views of the development’s 7-km long Crystal Lagoon. Residents will also have access to a 14-km boardwalk, and over 8.4-km cycling and running track. They will also have access to The Meydan One Mall, a new retail and recreational destination.

“We now commenced the construction of Phase 3 residences of our master development and we are confident in delivering the project up to the standards and as per schedule,” Al Tayer added.
