$820 million construction will complete by 2022, says Azizi Developments
Azizi Developments says construction of the second tallest tower in Dubai will begin in the third quarter of 2018 after consultant and architect firm Atkins “refined and updated” the original design based on its recommendations.
Azizi Developments describes the as-yet unnamed commercial and residential tower as its most ambitious project to date. Once completed, the 122-storey building will stand at approximately 570m tall on Sheikh Zayed Road and will be among the biggest skyscrapers in Dubai and the world, said the developer. Construction is scheduled for completion between 2021 and 2022 and will cost $820 million to develop.
The tower will house residential apartments on the first 100 floors and a luxury hotel on the remaining 22 floors, Azizi said in statement.

Additionally, this tower will reinforce Dubai’s position as a global powerhouse for real estate, luxury and tourism as well as add to its appeal as the leading destination for some of the most iconic skyscrapers in the world.”
According to Azizi Developments, it is currently working on developing more than 200 projects in 2018. Among the biggest projects are Azizi Riviera – the developer’s flagship development in Meydan One, followed by Azizi Victoria – the mega-community project in Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum City – District 7.
