Phase one sold out in less than a month, and is scheduled for completion in late 2018
Following the rapid sellout of phase one of its Nasma Residences project in Sharjah, UAE, property developer Arada has announced the second phase of the development.
Phase two offers two and three bedroom townhouses, four bedroom semi-detached villas and, for the first time, a five-bedroom Signature Villa.
The UAE-based developer also announced that construction of the 6,500 sq ft Nasma Square mall will begin in July of this year.
Speaking about the launch, Arada’s Chairman, Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, said: “We are delighted to see strong interest from end users in Nasma Residences. This is confirmation not only of the community’s excellent location and product choice, but also of the outstanding amenities that our residents will be able to enjoy, once Nasma Residences is complete. We also see this as a strong indication of investor confidence in Sharjah itself, largely thanks to the government’s efforts to encourage more urban communities with large green spaces.”
Spread over an area of five million sqft, Nasma Residences has been planned to ensure a balance between living areas and community facilities. Homeowners’ comfort and convenience were key goals of the project, which will be anchored by four community offerings: a 13-acre landscaped park, a multi-purpose community centre, an international school, and Nasma Square, a retail space.
Speaking about the success of the development, Elie Mrad, head of architecture at Arada told Middle East Consultant: “Our primary approach has been to focus on the customer, and based on their feedback, we have made some rapid design changes to our units. These include the introduction of three new units in Phase 2. We have also enlarged our bedrooms to match market expectations, and we’ve amended access to the live-in maid’s quarters. These changes are being applied to units that have been already sold in Phase 1, as well as to the homes that are on offer in Phase 2. In my experience, it is rare for developers to have the facility to make design changes to their units this rapidly, and is testament to our desire to put our customers’ needs first.”
Nasma Residences is located at the intersection of Emirates Road Highway #611 and Maliha Road, adjacent to the newly developing Tilal City, Tilal Mall and the new Sharjah Convention Centre.
