Dubai’s Nakheel issues tender for Dragon City hotel
Final date for submission of bids is September 25
Property developer Nakheel has floated a tender for the construction of a 295-room three-star hotel in Dragon City in Dubai.
According to a notice issued on July 28, the plot area of the hotel is approximately 5,600 square metres while the built-up area is approximately 16,900 square metres.
The hotel will be developed north of the existing Dragon Mart 1 complex, the Dubai-based property developer said.
Nakheel said the tender documents can be obtained by paying a non-refundable fee of $2,724 (AED 10,000), and the final date for submission of bids is September 25, 2016.
Dragon City is a planned 11 million square-foot expansion of the existing Dragon Mart complex in Dubai. It includes a 6.5 million sq ft residential, retail and hotel extension of the giant mall.
